AMSTERDAM. Tuesday, 13 October 2026 – Fourthline, the leading European provider of AI-powered identity verification and compliance solutions, has been recognised as a 'Luminary' in Celent's report Know Your Customer Systems: KYC Orchestration Platforms. The designation recognises Fourthline's advanced technology capabilities in the KYC orchestration space.

The report calls out Know Your Customer (KYC) as: 'perhaps the most complex operational area in financial crime compliance. Orchestration platforms are designed to reduce this complexity by automating workflows and data calls at customer onboarding and throughout the customer lifecycle.'

Neil Katkov, PhD, Director, Risk at Celent: "Fourthline has consistently performed well in Celent's analyses of IDV and KYC technology providers. Fourthline provides a fully featured orchestration environment for onboarding and KYC, suitable particularly for complex onboarding environments and modular, policy-driven onboarding at scale."

Celent's report evaluates 25 solutions that support KYC orchestration as an increasingly critical part of compliance operations at banks and other financial institutions.

The achievement is part of a series of reports from Celent in 2026 evaluating KYC systems. Celent evaluated vendors across multiple functionalities and domains, ultimately placing solutions into five distinct categories based on comprehensive market assessment. Other editions in the series examine adverse media screening, KYC data providers, customer due diligence & customer lifecycle management systems.

Ralph Post, CTO at Fourthline: "It's great to see Fourthline recognised by Celent, and I'm particularly proud of the team that has made this possible. We've always believed that KYC should be simpler for financial institutions, not more complex. That's exactly why we built our platform the way we did by bringing identity verification, biometrics, AML screening and ongoing KYC together through a single API, while taking away the complexity of managing multiple solutions. This recognition is a great validation of the direction we've taken, but we're certainly not done. There's still a lot we can do to make KYC simpler, smarter and more effective for our clients.”

Fourthline's integrated AI-powered platform eliminates the complexity of managing multiple point solutions. New markets, jurisdictions, and use cases can be added to the orchestration layer without requiring partners to re-integrate.
