Fleur de Roos Promoted to Chief Operating Officer at Fourthline

Amsterdam, The Netherlands — January 22, 2026 — Fourthline, the leading European provider of AI-powered identity verification and compliance solutions, is pleased to announce the promotion of Fleur de Roos to Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately.  

De Roos brings deep expertise and institutional knowledge to this new role, having been instrumental in Fourthline's legal and operational evolution since joining as General Counsel in 2022. 

After obtaining her law degree from Utrecht University, she began her career at international law firm Clifford Chance, where she developed expertise in corporate law and financial services. After three years with global trading firm, Flow Traders, she then served as a senior policy advisor at the Dutch Authority for Financial Markets (Autoriteit Financiële Markten), gaining extensive regulatory insight. Before joining Fourthline, she was a partner at boutique firm Legalloyd, where she built the law firm on top of the legal tech company, and advised on M&A, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.  

In her new position as COO, de Roos will oversee Fourthline's operational functions, including legal, compliance, risk management, HR, and business operations, with a focus on scaling the company's infrastructure to support continued growth across European markets. 

Throughout her tenure at Fourthline, de Roos has expanded her remit beyond traditional legal counsel. As General Counsel, she has been instrumental in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, supporting strategic initiatives, and building robust governance frameworks that have enabled Fourthline to maintain its market leadership while scaling rapidly. Her ability to bridge legal expertise with strategic business thinking has made her an invaluable driver of operational excellence.
