Created under the patronage of Carlos Moedas, former European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, the Digital Top 50 awards are aimed at bolstering Europe’s thriving tech scene and recognizing the continent’s most promising start-ups.

Since 2016, the Awards have covered the full spectrum of the region's business and technology landscape, with tech companies from all over Europe applying for one of the four categories of awards. Applications are evaluated by DT50’s Executive Jury, a hand-picked panel of experts and veterans in venture-building and growth mentoring.

Chosen as a finalist from a field of over 300 applicants, Fourthline has been recognized in the Top Technology category of this year's awards. Fourthline's application highlighted its role in protecting the global financial system from fraudsters and money-launderers with its portfolio of AI-driven digital identity solutions.

I am impressed by their passion and their conviction to find outstanding solutions for the most urgent questions of our time. This is exactly what strikes most at this year’s Digital Top 50 Awards: the new generation of founders is highly impact-driven with a particular focus on societal issues. -- Raphael Neuner, Partner at Hering Schuppener‘s Tech and Transformation practice

The award winners will be announced on 29 September during this year's Bits and Pretzels Networking Week.
